Byron is a big mixed salad. It's looking up the barrel of a freeway from the north swelling with traffic searching for a relief from the Gold Coast sameness. Illusive as the end of a rainbow and persistent as a nightly recurring dream...a destination for quest lies our place. She is now less innocence, but more diverse and always interesting and individualistic... Its past is a of community with many boom and busts. Its rolling waves have seen it all …the cutting of the big timbers, a gold rush, dairy industry, sand mining, whale killing, and now as an international favorite for visitation. Always an examined life here.
